NG Bailey is the UK’s largest independent engineering and services business, with its headquarters based in Leeds. Established over a century ago, the company delivers mechanical, electrical and building services across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and infrastructure sectors.

In 2024, Onyx Interiors were instructed by Munroe K and NG Bailey to support NG Bailey across a range of interior refurbishment, mechanical and electrical and workspace improvement works, taking the existing 1970’s “Grade B” to high end “Grade A” office specification accommodation. Working within a live operational environment, our role has included modernising office accommodation, enhancing meeting suites, creating collaborative work zones, and upgrading welfare facilities to meet evolving staff and client needs.

Scope of Works

• Refurbishment of existing office accommodation including new flooring, ceilings, lighting and glazed partitioning
• Creation of modern meeting suites, collaboration zones and breakout areas
• Installation of bespoke joinery, tea points and welfare facility upgrades
• Mechanical & electrical alterations to suit new layouts and corporate standards
• Re-decoration of circulation areas and enhancement of reception/entrance zones
• Coordination with NG Bailey’s in-house FM and engineering teams throughout delivery
